PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Kevin previously worked for the law firms of Broad and Cassel in Tampa, Florida, and Zimmet, Unice & Salzman, P.A. in Palm Harbor, Florida, where he handled complex commercial litigation, municipal law and insurance bad faith defense. In 2009, Kevin joined Mills Paskert Divers. His practice is devoted to construction, surety, and commercial litigation. Kevin has tried complex litigation cases in state and federal courts. He is licensed to practice in all Florida state courts, the United States District Courts for the Middle and Northern Districts of Florida, and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.

Kevin earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Management from the Park University in 2000. He attended Stetson University College of Law and obtained his Juris Doctorate in 2004.

During law school, Kevin was a member of the Stetson Client Skills Board and participated on the Counseling, Mediation and Negotiation teams. He was the research assistant for Lisa Kloppenberg, Dean and Professor of law, University of Dayton School of Law, and a recipient of the Presidential Scholarship. Prior to entering law school, Kevin was a target intelligence analyst in the United States Air Force and worked in alternative dispute resolution through the Better Business Bureau of West Florida.

Kevin enjoys spending his leisure time fishing, golfing, coaching youth sports and spending time with his family.

Admitted to Practice in all state courts in Florida and the U.S. District Court for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida, and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit.
